Package Description:

You’re a college junior or planning to apply next cycle and want to use the next 9–12 months strategically. I will support you from early preparation through submission: building the right experiences, shaping your narrative, and executing polished applications. I do not provide LSAT tutoring, but I will help you set a realistic study plan, choose materials, and stay accountable. What’s included (end‑to‑end support) Kickoff + roadmap (Weeks 1–2) I’ll audit your academics, experiences, and goals, then deliver a month‑by‑month plan to application launch (deadlines, milestones, and a shared tracker). Academic and recommender strategy Course planning to highlight writing/analysis. Recommender cultivation plan (who, when, how), outreach templates, and touchpoint schedule. Internship, research, and summer planning Targeted internship/research search tailored to your interests (legal aid, policy shops, clinics, professors’ labs, government). I’ll provide a curated leads list, outreach scripts, and an application calendar; we’ll also craft a small “impact project” you can complete before apps open. Professional materials Resume rebuild optimized for law admissions; LinkedIn/presence audit. Writing sample selection or development plan if needed. Narrative development Personal statement: brainstorming, outline, and iterative edits to final. Diversity statement, optional essays, addenda (GPA/testing/character & fitness): advising and up to four rounds of edits per essay. School research and list build I’ll research and recommend a balanced school list, with one‑page dossiers on programs (clinics, journals, centers, scholarships) and how you can authentically align. Application assembly and review Activity descriptions, short answers, fee‑waiver strategy, and CAS/LSAC logistics timeline. Final pass on every application before submission. Interview preparation Format‑specific prep and one full mock per school, with coaching notes and drills. Waitlist support (if applicable) Strategy, timing, and letter(s) of continued interest with edits. Cadence and check‑ins Monthly 30‑minute check‑ins throughout the pre‑app period (ramping to biweekly Aug–Oct if needed within the same hour allotment). Asynchronous support via email with 2‑business‑day responses. Light offline research between meetings so you always have next steps. LSAT scope (no tutoring) I’ll help you choose test dates, select self‑study/commercial resources, set an accountability calendar, and integrate score‑release timing with your app plan. I do not teach LSAT content. A typical timeline (12 months out to submit) Months 12–9: Roadmap, course/recommender strategy, internship/summer search, resume rebuild, LSAT study plan. Months 9–6: Secure roles/projects, collect evidence of impact, draft personal narrative bank, first personal statement outline. Months 6–3: Draft personal/diversity/optional essays, refine school list, campus/virtual visits, recommender packets. Months 3–1: Finalize essays and applications, submit in early fall; prep for interviews. Post‑submit: Interviews, scholarships, and (if needed) waitlist strategy.

I grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina, and earned my degrees in French and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I went on to pursue my Juris Doctor (JD) at Duke University School of Law — an experience that deepened my love for the study of law. While I briefly worked in the legal field, I quickly realized that what truly inspired me wasn’t practicing law — it was helping others find their path through education. That realization led me to pivot into the field of international higher education, where I discovered my passion for mentoring students through the admissions process. For over 15 years, I’ve worked in university admissions at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. As a former admissions officer, I’ve reviewed hundreds of applications from students around the world. My experience includes serving as the Assistant Director of Recruitment and Admissions at the University of Chicago Booth Executive MBA program, where I gained firsthand insight into what top-tier programs look for in standout candidates. I spent over a decade living in Hong Kong, where I worked with both local and international students on applications to law school, MBA, Master’s, and undergraduate programs. Now based back in Raleigh, I continue to support students worldwide as they pursue their academic and professional goals. Whether you're applying to T14 law schools or exploring a specialized legal program, I bring a unique blend of legal training, admissions experience, and global perspective to help you craft a compelling, authentic application.
