Getting into an MBA program you're genuinely excited about takes more than a polished resume and clean essays — it takes a clear, honest story about who you are and where you're going. I'm a Ross MBA and BCG alumna who has conducted admissions interviews across every application round for two years, and I've coached people through this process with a GPA that didn't fully represent them (I've been there) and backgrounds that took real work to frame. My coaching is built around your whole story, not just the application checklist. This package covers everything from your first brainstorm to your final submission. 1. Kickoff & Planning -Application roadmap: We'll build a custom timeline mapped to your target rounds so deadlines don't sneak up on you and you're never rushing the parts that matter most. -Deep background dive: A live session to surface the experiences, values, and inflection points that will form the foundation of your application narrative, including the parts that feel complicated. -Goals articulation: We'll sharpen your short- and long-term career vision and make sure it's grounded, specific, and connected to what you'll actually do with an MBA. 2. School Selection -Target list strategy: School fit assessment based on your profile, goals, program strengths, and where you'll thrive, not just where you think you should apply. -Positioning by school: For each target, we'll identify what makes you a strong fit and how to lean into it so your application is uniquely you and uniquely each school. -Reach/target/likely balance: Honest conversation about where you stand and how to structure a list that maximizes your options without spreading you too thin. 3. Resume Review -MBA resume transformation: Full revision into an achievement-forward, MBA-style format focused on impact, leadership, and progression, not just responsibilities. -Narrative alignment: Resume themes tied explicitly to your application story so every line is helping your candidacy. -Multiple rounds of edits: Asynchronous line-by-line feedback until it's done. 4. Story & Essay Development -Story Bank: We'll identify your best 5–8 stories together - not just the most impressive ones, but the most revealing ones - and make sure they're working across every essay and interview. -Essay strategy by school: For each application, we'll map what the adcom is actually looking for and build your angle in before you write a word. -Multiple rounds of feedback: Brainstorm → outline → draft → line-by-line edits, repeated until every essay is doing what it needs to do. No caps on revision rounds. 5. Recommender Strategy & Support -Recommender selection: We'll think through your full bench of strengths, risks, and the story each person can tell and land on the strongest combination. -Recommender prep package: A tailored prep doc for each recommender that makes it easy for them to write something specific and compelling, not generic. -Optional recommender review: If your recommenders share drafts with you, I can provide feedback to help strengthen the final letters. 6. Application Finalization -Activities, awards & honors: Work through the rest of the application form (e.g., extracurriculars, optional essays, additional information) so nothing is left on the table. -Scholarship positioning: Guidance on merit scholarship applications, including how to frame your profile and goals to maximize award potential. -Final submission review: A full read of your complete application before you hit submit, checking for consistency, cohesion, errors, and anything that doesn't land the way you intended. 7. Interview Preparation -Interview strategy: School-specific preparation for each interview, drawing on my two years as a Ross interviewer. -Mock interviews with debrief: Live practice sessions run the way real interviews run, followed by specific, actionable feedback on what to sharpen. 8. Post-Decision Support -Waitlist strategy (if applicable): If you're waitlisted, we'll build a targeted response plan: what to send, when, and how to make the strongest possible case for reconsideration. -Scholarship negotiation (if applicable): Strategic positioning to give you the best chance possible at making your #1 admit financially feasible
