About Ian
I'm a lawyer in private practice in New York City. I graduated from Brown University in 2013 with a degree in Public Policy and American Institutions. After graduating from college, I worked for two years at a civil rights nonprofit in Alabama. While I was in Alabama, I served as the regional alumni interviewing coordinator for Brown and interviewed many prospective students. I then volunteered abroad for a year before starting at Harvard Law School in 2016. At Harvard, I was the editor in chief of the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review and did several other clinics and extracurriculars. Upon graduating in 2019, I worked at a law firm in New York and clerked for two federal judges before beginning my current role. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, home improvement, and planning travel.
Why do I coach?
I've been through many stressful admissions and hiring processes, and I've often thought how I would have benefited from a trusted coach by my side. I hope to share the experiences and insights I've gained and be that trusted coach for you!
