Ian's College Qualifications
I’m a Harvard Law School and Brown University graduate who was admitted to several other top 14 law schools and elite undergraduate programs. After law school, I clerked for two federal judges and now work as an associate at a large law firm in New York City. In addition to having gone through the admissions process myself, I have some experience with the other side of the hiring process: I was a regional interviewing coordinator for Brown and took part in hiring for my firm and for my judges. So I have insight into what makes applications for selective opportunities stand out. I’m looking forward to helping you with yours!

About Ian
I'm a lawyer in private practice in New York City. I graduated from Brown University in 2013 with a degree in Public Policy and American Institutions. After graduating from college, I worked for two years at a civil rights nonprofit in Alabama. While I was in Alabama, I served as the regional alumni interviewing coordinator for Brown and interviewed many prospective students. I then volunteered abroad for a year before starting at Harvard Law School in 2016. At Harvard, I was the editor in chief of the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review and did several other clinics and extracurriculars. Upon graduating in 2019, I worked at a law firm in New York and clerked for two federal judges before beginning my current role. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, home improvement, and planning travel.
Why do I coach?
I've been through many stressful admissions and hiring processes, and I've often thought how I would have benefited from a trusted coach by my side. I hope to share the experiences and insights I've gained and be that trusted coach for you!
