About Elyse

"Career Coach for Neurodivergent Professionals in Crisis" Specializing in high-achievers who are exhausted from masking and desperate for strategies that actually work After 25 years in accounting, a coach asked me three life-changing questions: Is this what you want to do for the remainder of your career? Does this make you happy? Does your work match your purpose? The answer was a resounding no. That moment of clarity didn't just change my path—it ignited my mission to help others find their own moment of awakening.

Why do I coach?

Why This Work Matters to Me I've watched people I love struggle in systems that weren't designed for their brains. Brilliant minds were told they were "lazy." Creative thinkers are labeled "unmotivated." Capable professionals are burning out from constant masking. I saw someone I care about deeply work three times harder than everyone else just to appear "normal"—and still believe they were failing. That broke my heart. Because the problem was never them. It was the strategies. I started this work because I couldn't stand watching one more neurodivergent person believe they were broken when they just needed different tools. After years of listening, learning, and walking alongside neurodivergent individuals and their families, I became a coach to turn that understanding into transformation. When a client tells me they left work at 5 PM for the first time in years, or that they finally have energy for their family again—that's why I do this. Everyone deserves strategies designed for how their brain actually works. Not how society thinks it should work.

Empowerment Coaching by Elyse

June 2023 - Present

Experienced certified coach with experience in client service and learning and development. I specialize in empowering individuals to unlock their potential to maximize their performance through impactful choices and inclusive behaviors. Who I Help: High-achievers whose coping strategies just stopped working People working 60+ hours and still falling behind Professionals who got their first "needs improvement" review after years of success Anyone too depleted to be present with their family at night Those terrified they're about to lose the career they've worked so hard to build How I Work: Through individual coaching, I help clients develop executive functioning strategies, workplace self-advocacy skills, and the confidence to show up authentically. Why this matters: 1 in 5 people are neurodivergent. Yet most support systems, workplace policies, and parenting advice are built for the other 4. My mission is to fill that gap—providing neurodivergent individuals, families, and the workplaces that employ them with strategies that actually work. Not despite being neurodivergent. Because of it.
