About Allie

I was born and raised on a family farm in Texas, where I developed a strong work ethic and a deep curiosity about the world. That curiosity led me to a career in international business, working across more than 10 countries before joining McKinsey & Company in 2019. Before McKinsey, I earned my MBA from UVA Darden, where I served as President of the Consulting Club and helped prospective students prepare for consulting interviews and succeed in their internships. Coaching and developing others has been a consistent theme throughout my career. At McKinsey, I spent four years in the Washington, DC office and one year in Dubai as part of a highly competitive global rotation. I worked primarily in the Strategy and Corporate Finance practice, with a focus on travel & tourism, public sector, and automotive engagements. I was rated Distinctive (the highest performance rating) and left as a senior Engagement Manager to lead growth strategy for Marriott.

Why do I coach?

One of the things I loved most about McKinsey was helping coach my teams and clients to build confidence, lean into their strengths, and perform at their best under pressure. That’s what draws me to coaching on Leland today. My coaching style is structured, supportive, and highly personalized. I specialize in: • Turning personal stories into compelling, authentic interview answers • Breaking down case math so it’s intuitive, approachable, and even fun • Creating a clear, manageable case prep plan so the process doesn’t feel overwhelming
