Alison’s Career Coaching Qualifications
Experience level: Manager
I'm Alison - a Wharton MBA, former P&G account executive, and BCG consultant who has consistently found ways to carve out unconventional paths within large organizations. I've negotiated my way to New York, landed a unique internal role by creating the opportunity myself, and built a track record of making systems work in my favor rather than waiting for permission. I coach people who want to do the same - and want a thought partner who will be straight with them. What makes my approach a little different: I have a background in psychological and brain sciences and have spent time working in the mental health space. I don't just help people optimize their career moves. I help them understand what's actually driving their decisions, what's getting in the way, and what success actually looks like for them personally. I work best with early-career professionals and consultants who are serious about making a change and want both the strategic framework and the honest conversation. What I can help with: >> Creating unconventional opportunities within large companies >> Career pivots out of consulting or corporate >> Breaking into consulting or MBA programs >> Career positioning and strategy >> Getting unstuck when ambition and uncertainty are pulling in opposite directions Format: 1:1 sessions, virtual

About Alison
I coach high-achievers who have the resume and still feel like something's missing - and I actually try to understand why. For a long time, I had the resume that was supposed to mean I had it together. P&G, Wharton, BCG - a series of moves that looked confident and deliberate from the outside. And a lot of the time, they were. But underneath that, I still had moments of feeling completely lost. Unsure if I was on the right path, wondering if I was capable of more, and not knowing how to figure that out. The arc looks clean in hindsight. In the middle of it, it didn't always feel that way. What helped me navigate it were mentors, coaches, and honest conversations that gave me the clarity I couldn't find on my own, and the confidence to keep making bold moves even when I wasn't sure they'd pay off. That's why I coach. I work with early-career professionals and consultants who are ambitious, high-achieving, and quietly wondering if they're on the right path. I bring a background in psychological and brain sciences alongside my business experience - which means I don't just help people optimize their next move, I help them understand what's actually driving their decisions and what's getting in the way. My approach is direct. I won't tell you what you want to hear. I'll help you get honest with yourself and build a real plan from there.
Why do I coach?
I know what it feels like to be smart, ambitious, and completely unsure of your next move. I've been there - overthinking, feeling unfulfilled, wondering if I was on the right path. Coaching helped me find clarity when I couldn't find it on my own. I do this because I want to be that person for someone else. Not to tell you what to do, but to help you find the clarity I wish I'd had sooner.
