Alison’s Career Coaching Qualifications
Experience level: Manager
Who I work with: Ambitious professionals (typically 2–7 years in) at top firms, consultancies, or post-MBA who are navigating one of these moments: - You're successful by every external measure and quietly wondering if this is actually what you want - You know you need to make a move but keep rationalizing staying - You're in a career transition and the options feel overwhelming, so you're stalling - You want to create an unconventional opportunity inside a large organization but don't know how to position it - You've been "thinking about it" for months and need someone to hold you accountable to actually doing something What makes this different: I combine strategic consulting rigor with actual psychology. That means I'm not just helping you update your resume or prep for interviews (though I can). I'm helping you understand why you keep getting stuck in the first place — so the pattern doesn't follow you to the next role. What a session looks like: We don't do vague "how are you feeling about your career" conversations. Every session has a focus, and you leave with something concrete - a reframed understanding of what's driving your decision, a specific action plan, or an honest answer to a question you've been avoiding. Format: 1:1 sessions, virtual

About Alison
I coach high-achievers who've done everything right on paper and still feel like something's off - and I help them figure out what's actually going on underneath. My background is a little unusual for a coach: I have a degree in psychological and brain sciences, and I've spent my career inside the environments my clients are trying to navigate - P&G, Wharton, BCG. That means I'm not coaching from theory. I know what the unspoken rules actually are, where high-performers systematically get stuck, and what it looks like when someone is optimizing for the wrong thing without realizing it. My style is direct. I won't validate a decision I think is driven by fear, and I won't let you confuse motion with progress. I help you see the patterns you can't see yourself - the hidden commitments keeping you in place, the stories about your career that are out of date, and the gap between what you say you want and what you're actually doing about it. I work best with early-career professionals and consultants who are serious about making a change and want a thought partner who will be honest with them, not one who will tell them they can do anything.
Why do I coach?
I coach because the moments that changed my career trajectory weren't promotions — they were honest conversations with people who saw what I couldn't see myself. I want to be that person for someone else
