As the former Director of Admissions at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, I advised hundreds of prospective applicants across a range of graduate programs—including 11 advanced nursing specialties (MSN), doctoral programs (PhD and DNP), and the Master’s in Nutrition Science—providing strategic guidance on application materials, program fit, and funding opportunities. I led the admissions final selection process and merit awarding along with the faculty admissions committee. I am an MSN, RN working in clinical care and nursing education. I love working with future nurses on figuring out the best path forward for their lives. I truly enjoy working on a path for future nurses with families or working toward a second or third degree. I am a CNEn (Certified Nurse Educator), CCM (Chronic Care Management), and CLC (Certified Lactation Consultant).

As a graduate of BYU’s highly competitive BSN program (3.8 GPA), I’ve been through the intense nursing school admissions process myself; I know how tough it can be, and I know how to make an application stand out. I’ve helped many aspiring nurses navigate applications, strengthen their personal statements, and position themselves for success in competitive programs.
