I have successfully guided 2 individuals through the intricacies of master's and MBA program applications (Stanford), helping them achieve their academic aspirations.

I bring over 10 years of experience at the crossroads of academia, technology, and global careers, and I’ve had the privilege of studying and working with institutions such as Stanford and Cornell University. Along the way, I’ve supported students and professionals from all over the world as they navigate competitive master’s programs in AI, computer science, data, and interdisciplinary technology fields. What truly excites me about coaching is helping people find and articulate their story. I’ve worked closely with researchers, founders, and executives, which gives me a clear view of what top programs are really looking for: intellectual curiosity, clarity of purpose, and the ability to turn learning into impact. My approach is thoughtful, structured, and encouraging; we’ll work together to shape a strong narrative, highlight your unique strengths, and help you feel confident at every step of the application process. When applying to Master programs in public health and public policy, I received acceptances to every one - including Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy, Duke Sanford School of Public Policy, Oxford University Blavatnik School of Government, and the Harvard Kennedy School, among others. I also received acceptances to Yale Law School and to Georgetown University Law Center - two schools deeply focused on public interest law, my future path. I am well equipped to assist you in crafting your narrative, highlighting your strengths, and designing a compelling application that will grab the attention of the admissions committee. Through my 5 years at the MIT Communication Lab, I have coached over 50 students on applying for graduate studies (MS and PhD). Many of my students have been admitted into the top programs, which include MIT, Harvard, Stanford, Caltech, Oxbridge, etc. I'm very familiar with the application process, the essays required, and the narrative necessary to craft a compelling application.

Hi! My name is Prabhroop and I'm from Vancouver, Canada :) My interests span international relations, global development, Canadian politics, diplomacy, ethics, and fashion. I've also been a keen learner of languages since high school. Currently, I am a World Economic Forum Global Shaper and work as an External Relations Analyst at the First Nations Health Authority in Vancouver, BC. I am also a mentor for high school students around the world, supporting them with college applications and leadership development - with my most recent trip being Dubai and an upcoming workshop series for Cartier's Corporate Internship Program. I graduated from Harvard in 2023 where I was actively involved on campus. Some of my experiences include serving on the executive teams for the Harvard Graduate Council and Harvard Kennedy School Women in Defense, Diplomacy, and Development Organization. Previously, I worked in the Canadian Senate, where I was the first South Asian Page and later took on roles as a Legislative Analyst and Senators’ Office Staffer. One of my most memorable career highlights has been working in Vientiane as a Junior Political and Public Affairs Officer at the Canadian Embassy in Laos. I love meeting new people and hearing about their lives, passions and goals. I am very excited to coach folks from different backgrounds and support them in achieving their dreams!

Having earned my Masters and PhD from Stanford University, I am deeply familiar with every aspect of the admissions process, from writing personal and research statements to standardized testing, and creating a strategy for successful recommendation letters. I have also worked closely with undergraduate students throughout each step, resulting in acceptances from colleges such as Columbia University, Cornell University, and the London School of Economics. Throughout my time in academia, I have mentored students in various capacities, from career coaching to in-depth research project development, over the course of months and even years. I take a highly supportive approach to coaching and aim to create an environment in which my clients can be completely open about their worries so I can be the best possible coach for them. That said, you can expect me to be constructively candid – because coaching is about challenging you and accelerating your growth, not making you feel good so I can collect a check. Besides sitting on both Northwestern's and Stanford's alumni admissions councils, I was an interviewer at Google and Meta, so I've spent many hours "on the other side of the table" and can give you a strong sense for how you might be perceived by interviewers and admissions committees. I enjoy coaching people from a huge range of backgrounds, but I specialize in coaching folks from lower-income families, LGBTQ+ candidates, and those who need extra help crafting their personal narrative.
