I earned my bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College and both a Master of Science degree and MBA admission through the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. I will be attending Duke University School of Law and have successfully navigated the law school admissions process as a splitter applicant. I know what it takes to build a competitive law school application because I've lived the full arc of it: from choosing the right extracurriculars as an undergrad to successfully navigating two separate law school admissions cycles, first as an initial applicant and then as a transfer student. I studied political science at BYU, where I balanced a packed extracurricular schedule that ranged from cheerleading and Political Review to serving as an officer for Women in Politics, all while completing a global marketing study abroad and several legal and political internships. That experience taught me firsthand how to build a narrative that ties together leadership, service, and academic interests into something admissions committees actually remember. I also understand transitions and tough decisions better than most coaches, because I've made them myself. I started law school at BYU, then transferred to Texas Tech Law to support my husband's medical training, and I'm about to begin there this fall. Along the way, I served on the executive board for the Government and Politics Club and the Federalist Society, and completed a government relations internship with Intermountain Health during my 1L year. I have been working with law school candidates since before I even started law school myself! I take pride in the fact that I have helped numerous students shoot above their scores and receive admissions to top schools that were considered "reaches" for them such as Ivy League programs.

I am currently an Associate Professor at Florida Gulf Coast University, where I teach environmental law and policy. I attended the University of Pennsylvania Law School and, prior to pursuing a PhD, I worked at several prestigious international, national, and boutique law firms. I have counseled numerous students interested in attending law school, helping them decide whether and where to apply, and what strategies to use to stand out as applicants.

I'm a recent Yale Law School graduate with extensive writing and editing experience. I've written briefs in federal appeals, served as an editor for the Yale Law Journal, and authored scholarship that is forthcoming in the Yale Law Journal and the University of Pennsylvania Law Review. Before that, I studied political science at Williams College, where I graduated summa cum laude as one of the top four students in my class. I applied to law school straight through from college, and I was admitted to Yale, Stanford, and Harvard. I'm now completing a one-year fellowship in appellate defense before I begin two federal clerkships. Given my background, I'm particularly interested in helping those interested in public-interest law. Graduate from Yale University, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, with successful T-14 application experience as a KJD. Accepted into Yale Law and multiple T-14 full ride offers. Attending Yale Law class of 2030 after a deferral year as a Weil Legal Innovator with the Innocence Project in NYC. I majored in history with a focus on migration, incarceration, and social justice, and am skilled at essay writing from start to finish including putting together a cohesive narrative. At Yale, I plan to pursue immigration and criminal law, given my background as a daughter of Mexican immigrants and my experience in public defense. I obtained a 177 LSAT and have experience LSAT tutoring as well as essay editing.
