I’ve spoken at TEDx and the United Nations, written high-stakes speeches and statements, and helped applicants gain admission to top college, law school, and graduate programs. My strength lies in storytelling—clearly connecting even the most diverse experiences into one cohesive, powerful narrative. I am a Yale Law School, Bain & Co., and Yale College alum who is passionate about helping applicants tell their stories. As someone who navigated the nuances of competitive admissions alone, I understand the frustration of feeling overwhelmed by forum posts, wondering what to make of conflicting information, and puzzling over how generic advice applied to my unique situation. And as someone who has been on the other side reviewing resumes and interviewing candidates, I also understand what stands out (and what doesn't). I was admitted to several top law schools with full-ride scholarships, and participated in several prestigious pre-law fellowships. I am uniquely equipped to support students with a goal of attending law school directly from undergrad (KJD), because I did so myself! After graduating from Cal Lutheran in just 3 years, I was an SEO Law Fellow before starting at Georgetown, where I am now working with our Corporate and Financial Law Organization, our Entertainment Law Society, and our International Economic Law Society. In addition, I am a student ambassador for our admissions office, and a panelist for our early outreach program.

I am currently attending Stanford Law School, after having received admission to several other T14 law schools and some very generous scholarships. I deferred law school for a year to obtain a Masters at Oxford University on a full scholarship from Columbia University. I have extensive experience in editing application essays and resumes for mentees and friends, and several of these people have gone on to win prestigious fellowships or gain admission at T5 law schools such as Columbia Law School. I was admitted to every top law school except Yale (womp womp). I received multiple full tuition scholarships from T-14 schools. As a current J.D. candidate at the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a Harvard University graduate, I bring a strong academic foundation and a wealth of practical experience to my coaching. I'm a recent Yale Law School graduate with extensive writing and editing experience. I've written briefs in federal appeals, served as an editor for the Yale Law Journal, and authored scholarship that is forthcoming in the Yale Law Journal and the University of Pennsylvania Law Review. Before that, I studied political science at Williams College, where I graduated summa cum laude as one of the top four students in my class. I applied to law school straight through from college, and I was admitted to Yale, Stanford, and Harvard. I'm now completing a one-year fellowship in appellate defense before I begin two federal clerkships. Given my background, I'm particularly interested in helping those interested in public-interest law. I am the Founder and Principal Consultant of CW Admissions, drawing on experience guiding more than 100 applicants through the law school admissions process across national admissions consulting organizations and nonprofit initiatives, as well as experience as an application reader at a top-ten law school.
