Welcome to my profile! I'm Rachel, and currently work as a Vice President on the Value Creation & Transformation Team at Sheridan Capital Partners, a healthcare private equity firm based in Chicago. I work with our portfolio company management teams across a variety of projects and initiatives that focus on growth, strategy, and operational improvement. I also have experience in the Portfolio Transformation Group at Revelstoke Capital Partners, a healthcare private equity firm based in Denver. My journey includes an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management and consulting roles at McKinsey & Company and Guidehouse, where I honed my expertise and interest in healthcare. I specialize in guiding individuals through career transitions into private equity operations, leveraging my firsthand experience in this competitive field. Welcome to my profile! I began my career in Morgan Stanley’s Consumer & Retail Group in 2018, and then joined TPG in 2021, where I worked across growth and middle market private equity investments. I also worked with TPG’s C-suite to launch TPG NEXT, a GP-stakes fund where I evaluated hundreds of opportunities across asset classes, and was involved in supporting experienced investors in launching and building their own firms. I left in 2025 to pursue my own entrepreneurial journey. During my time at TPG I was involved with associate recruiting, candidate evaluation, case study reviews, and training of new associates and interns. Having seen the industry from multiple angles, I understand how to position yourself strategically to stand out in your interview process and career. Alpine CIT Class of 2021 alum! Since then, I’ve helped many applicants navigate the Alpine interview process through mock interviews, strategy sessions, and candid feedback - several have gone on to receive offers from Alpine and other CXO programs. The Alpine and Shore Capital interviews are a unique “deep dive” experience, so please note that I am not the best fit for traditional PE Ops' consulting-style case prep.

I spent 3 years working at Sylva (PE fund buying training / L&D firms) as an Operating Partner. I ran their Chief of Staff and BizOps Network businesses, growing them 40% YoY. I reported directly to the CEO / Managing Partner. I was brought into Sylva by way of acquisition; my company Upslope was a training firm for Operations professionals. I started a search fund, diligenced 100+ companies, acquired one, and have grown it 30% YoY. I am in the process of acquiring another company to bolt-on.

Having spent the past 21 years in private equity, I have led numerous direct investments, co-investments, and fund investments across Europe. In 2021, I co‑founded Saturnus Capital, where we take majority positions in mid‑market businesses with a strong focus on succession situations. After several successful exits, I am keen to give back and support others in navigating this exciting industry.

With nearly three decades advising boards, CEOs, and investors across private equity and venture-backed companies, I bring a deep understanding of what drives success in the PE ecosystem. I’ve partnered with leading sponsors including Thoma Bravo, KKR, Apollo, Blackstone, Clearlake, Insight, Francisco Partners, and Apax among many, many others to assess, recruit, and coach executives through transformational value-creation journeys — from pre-acquisition diligence to exit. Having completed 450+ executive placements and been directly involved in 40+ successful exits creating over $25B in enterprise value, I’ve developed an insider’s view of how talent decisions shape investment outcomes. That experience enables me to coach aspiring and current PE leaders with a pragmatic, investor-aligned lens — focused on readiness, impact, and the leadership behaviors that creates value.
