Mark played a pivotal role in shaping my career. As a professor at Indiana University and a former Naval officer, he helped me navigate a critical decision—encouraging me to take the path less traveled by enlisting in the U.S. Army. That decision led me to serve in the Special Operations Community as an Army Ranger, followed by a career in management consulting, then medical school, and ultimately becoming an Emergency Medicine Physician.
