Kerry is, in my view, the best coach on the Leland platform and likely among the very best MBA admissions coaches anywhere. Leland is a stronger platform because she’s on it. I have a brother who works at Leland, so over the course of several years I repeatedly asked which coach I should use. The answer was always the same: Kerry. What makes Kerry exceptional is that she brings both deep admissions expertise and a rare talent for personal branding. As a former HBS admissions officer, she understands the process at the highest level. But just as importantly, she knows how to help applicants uncover and articulate what makes them compelling. I went into the application process feeling like I didn’t have anything particularly interesting to say, and Kerry helped me identify stories and perspectives from my own background that I never would have recognized as meaningful or distinctive on my own. When it came time for final edits, Kerry went above and beyond. She worked tirelessly reviewing my essays and giving me real-time feedback through countless iterations right up against deadlines. I genuinely can’t imagine having gone through this process with anyone else. Even if working with Kerry had cost three times as much, it still would have been worth it. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Rabeea helped me polish and brainstorm some of my interview responses and gave very helpful tips on how to approach the interview process, which changed my perspective and approach to interviewing. Would recommend a mock interview session with Rabeea if you're applying to med school!

I came to Hanie with no idea how to approach scholarship negotiations for grad school. She was incredibly responsive, helped me build a clear strategy for each program, and worked with me on crafting a negotiation letter that sounded confident without being pushy. With her help I was able to secure a $20K scholarship increase from Chicago Booth, which was my dream school. I'd recommend her to anyone navigating this process!

Jonathan helped me prepare for Biomedical Sciences PhD interviews, specifically perfecting communication of my research experiences. We went through a guided structure he had designed before working through my individual experiences and what I should highlight. The questions he asked me to prepare almost perfectly mirrored what I was asked in interviews. Jonathan was energetic, responsive, and flexible with my last-minute scheduling. Our sessions were a major factor in my content and confidence going into PhD interviews. I can happily report that I was accepted to 3/3 of the programs I interviewed for with his help!

Michael helped me throughout my master’s applications. We worked together on two programs, and I ended up being accepted to both. What I appreciated most was that he genuinely cared about helping. He was very responsive, supportive, and thoughtful in his feedback. I had a great experience working with Briana. She was very easy to work with, highly responsive, and always provided feedback quickly. What I appreciated most was her patience in walking through her comments with me one by one, which made the whole process much less stressful. She also drew on her own learning experience and strong knowledge of the school to give me very specific and practical guidance for my interview preparation. Her advice felt thoughtful, relevant, and personalized. In addition, her scheduling was very flexible. Even though we were in different time zones, it was still very easy to find times that worked well for both of us. I really appreciated her support throughout the process!!

The entire MBA process is objectively rifled with uncertainty and confusion. It's hard not to get demotivated. I knew I needed someone who would push me and keep me grounded. Jesse did exactly that and more! He and M worked every weekend to ensure I get to the finish line. His response rate was uniquely high (I had sampled other coaches) which helped calm my nerves. The storytelling process they built helped significantly with my application essays and my interviews. If you're someone who needs more than a transactional coach but an emotional support system, you'll be safe going with Jesse and M!
