Stu was my coach when I was looking at leaving my current job and starting a business of my own. I had never had any career coaching and Stu opened my eyes to a whole new world of assessing where I was and where I wanted to be. When I'm asked to explain how Stu helped, I tell people that each session with him was like the clouds lifting and I could visualise my skill sets, knowledge and experience in clearer and more helpful terms. There were other benefits from working with Stu as well, such as podcast or book recommendations that he thought would help. One of the books I read completely transformed my thinking regarding working for myself! The upshot of this is I am now leaving my current role, have set up my own consultancy and am looking at a brighter future, whatever happens. I am a current freshman at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and I met Ayo at the beginning of my first semester through our Diverse Leaders of Tomorrow chapter. While only knowing him for two semesters, I cannot repay Ayo for all of the advice and wisdom he has given me: He has led multiple mock interviews with me as I prepared for internship calls, made me aware of unique programs and opportunities, helped me format my resume, and offered overall life advise.
