Winston’s Medical School Qualifications
10+ people coached for Medical School
Having gone through the medical school admissions cycle fairly recently, I remembered how confusing, difficult, and sometimes frustrating it can all be. My goal is to help simplify the application process for my mentees and to help them be the best applicants possible. I take a very customize approach when it comes to coaching each individual students and meet them where they are at. I tailor my support and advice to whatever my student's goals and needs are. This can be helping to identify gaps in their application material, brainstorming/workshopping personal statement ideas, revising/editing application essays, developing an MCAT study plan, crafting a school list, conducting practice interviews, etc. I've been advisor to pre-med applicants for years and it's a role I've always enjoyed. I'm happy to work with any and all students, regardless of where you are in the application process! I'm looking forward to working with you soon!

About Winston
I'm currently a medical student at Harvard Medical School on my clinical year rotating at Mass General Hospital. Before starting at HMS, I had previously spent 2 years abroad in Taiwan on a U.S. Fulbright Scholarship where I earned a Masters of Science in Global Health. For undergraduate, I studied at Princeton University for a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology. In terms of academic interests, I enjoy learning about medicine, global health, and bioethics. When I'm not studying or stuck in the hospital, I enjoy going on long runs and exploring different cafes in Boston.
Why do I coach?
I'm a complete believer in the idea that everyone needs a great mentor. I personally don't think I would have gotten to where I am without the help of many amazing advisors. It's for this reason, I enjoy supporting other students as their coach. I'm happy to work with any and all students regardless of their background or where they are at in the application process. If there are special considerations or limitations, don't hesitate to reach out.
