I have been investing for 15 years. I sat on both sides of the table – as an equity research analyst at Morgan Stanley and as a portfolio manager at Lazard Asset Management. I invested in public equities and private companies. I allocated capital on behalf of multi-billion dollar pension funds and endowments, as well as deployed my own capital in early-stage startups. Looking to add value and keep learning, I took on new challenges every 2-3 years. When I became the #1 rated analyst at Morgan Stanley, I brought on junior analysts and repeated my success as a team. When I delivered a 3X return on my investments at Lazard, I raised capital for a brand new fund. When I helped the team at Kabbage sell the business for $850 million to American Express, I joined a fresh new startup and raised capital from a16z. Capitalizing on my experience working with numerous asset classes, I’m now building a financial advisory firm. My journey is unfolding every day.
