This package includes four 1:1 coaching sessions focused on helping you get clear, aligned, and prepared to pursue a promotion in a Big Tech environment. We’ll start by grounding in reality. In the first session, we’ll clarify your current level, the expectations of the next level at your company, and how promotions are actually evaluated. The goal is to remove guesswork and build a shared understanding of what “promotion-ready” really means in your context. Next, we’ll focus on your scope, impact, and narrative. Together, we’ll translate the work you’re doing into language that resonates with managers and promotion reviewers, identify gaps in scope or visibility, and shape a clear promotion story that accurately reflects your contributions and growth areas. In the third session, we’ll work on alignment and advocacy. This includes how to have effective, low-friction conversations with your manager about promotion readiness, how to ask for actionable feedback, and how to think about advocates beyond your direct manager who may influence promotion decisions. In the final session, we’ll step back and assess timing, risks, and next steps. We’ll pressure-test whether pursuing promotion in the upcoming cycle makes sense, identify potential blockers, and create a practical 60–90 day plan you can execute regardless of timing. This package is not about guarantees or shortcuts. It’s designed to help you make informed decisions, advocate for yourself effectively, and approach the promotion process with clarity and confidence.
A clear assessment of your promotion readiness and a concise promotion narrative that ties your work to next-level impact, scope, and expectations at your company.

Coaching delivered via live sessions.
My coaching style is practical, direct, and grounded in real experience inside large technology companies. I don’t offer scripts, guarantees, or generic advice. Instead, I help clients understand how the system they’re in actually works and how to navigate it thoughtfully. I work collaboratively with clients to diagnose where they are today, what the next level truly requires in their specific environment, and what gaps or risks may exist. Sessions are structured but flexible, with space to dig into real situations, upcoming conversations, and decisions you’re actively facing. I focus heavily on clarity. That includes clarifying expectations, feedback, scope, impact, and timing. When something isn’t working, we name it directly and figure out why. When something is ambiguous, we break it down into concrete next steps. I also place a strong emphasis on helping clients think and act like the next level before they have the title. That often means shifting how they communicate, prioritize, and advocate for themselves, not just what work they take on. My goal is for clients to leave each session with a clearer mental model of how promotions work, increased confidence in their decisions, and a plan they can realistically execute within their organization.

Ex-Meta, Pinterest & LinkedIn Engineering Manager
I have worked in career coaching for several years, formally and informally, building on a much longer career spent coaching people inside technology companies. After stepping away from full time corporate leadership, I began working directly with individuals as a career coach, focusing on engineers, engineering managers, and senior ICs navigating growth, transition, and uncertainty. This work grew naturally out of the coaching and mentoring I had already been doing for over a decade inside organizations like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. I am qualified to coach in this category because I bring both real world leadership experience and a deep understanding of how careers actually progress in modern tech companies. I have helped clients get promoted, move into management, recover from setbacks, and make intentional career pivots. I understand performance systems, promotion processes, and the unspoken dynamics that often determine outcomes. My coaching is direct, honest, and practical, grounded in lived experience rather than generic advice. I help clients gain clarity, make confident decisions, and take concrete steps forward in their careers.
