About Susan
I am a leadership and transition coach who helps people navigate career and life changes with clarity, confidence, and purpose. Drawing from a foundation in human resources, with more than 20 years in high-tech, including 17 years at Microsoft, working in consulting, client relations, sales program management and marketing, I blend organizational insight and a deep understanding of people and change. My clients value my ability to translate corporate experience into practical, human-centered coaching. I partners with clients to uncover the patterns and perspectives that shape how they lead, communicate, and create impact. Grounded in curiosity and integrity, my coaching creates space for reflection, deeper self-awareness, and thoughtful experimentation, paired with a structured process that turns insights into meaningful action. Through this work, clients gain clarity, renewed energy, and stronger presence, creating greater alignment between who they are and how they show up in the world. Known for her calm, intuitive, and inquisitive style, Susan helps clients lead with intention and authenticity and cultivate meaningful, lasting transformation. Her coaching services include collaborative 1:1 coaching, DISC (workplace behavior assessment), providing 360 feedback, incorporating Positive Intelligence learnings and value discovery exercises. Susan is a credentialed coach through the Hudson Institute and is a certified coach through the International Coaching Federation. She is certified in DISC® through Thomas International. She also currently serves on the board of the Hudson Seattle Coach Community and is a volunteer with the ICF-WA state chapter.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I’ve seen how unexamined transitions, whether driven by growth, increased scope, or organizational change, can limit leadership effectiveness and performance. After more than 25 years in senior high-tech roles and navigating complex career transitions myself, I believe the leaders who perform at their best are those who intentionally pause to sharpen self-awareness, clarify priorities, and align their leadership approach with what drives results. This style of leadership creates space for teams to process change, build trust, and stay engaged rather than reactive, resulting in continued momentum through change, better decision-making, and sustained performance. I partner with leaders at critical moments to provide a confidential, high-trust space to elevate leadership capacity, expanding self-awareness, decision quality, and presence, so they can lead their teams with clarity, resilience, and measurable impact.
