Package Description:

The goal of this session is to provide you with a baseline of where your interviewing skills are at, and what it will take to close any gaps before interview day. I strongly recommend that all prospective candidates complete the Full Diagnostic: Behavioral + Case before purchasing time, so that we can gauge the volume and type of support you'll need before interview day. Regardless of which option you choose, the session will entail the following: 1. Mock interview. We will run a complete interview where I will act like a standard MBB interviewer, and we will not "break the fourth wall." This will give you a feel for how interview day will go, and will give me a comprehensive understanding of both your skills and communication style. 2. Detailed feedback. After we finish the mock interview(s), I will give you specific feedback on each section, focusing on what your interviewer will be looking out for. 3. Planning. At the end of the session, I will give you my honest recommendation of what it will take to get your baseline performance to offer-ready. We can explore what coaching could look like together, and other resources that you can leverage. After the session, I will share detailed feedback on each section so that you have a comprehensive and personalized baseline of your performance.

The first time I interviewed with McKinsey, Bain, and BCG, I bombed. I had a rockstar resume, but my case prep was limited to skimming Case in Point and reading cases alone in my room. As a non-traditional applicant, I didn't have the resources and knowledge of what it would take to adequately prepare for MBB interviews. Determined to make a comeback, I reverse-engineered the entire process the following year. I spent hundreds of hours breaking down what it would actually take to get a second chance and be ready on interview day. As a result, I landed a full-time Business Analyst offer with my dream company, McKinsey, where I also served on the Cornell recruiting team. Because of my unique experience, I am well versed not just on what it takes to get an offer, but common mistakes that many candidates make. My journey helping folks land MBB offers started when I TA'ed the Management Consulting Essentials course at the Cornell Johnson School of Business. Now as a Leland coach, I love working with folks to cut through the noise and focus on exactly what you (specifically you!) need to be offer-ready on interview day.
