Description

A strong transfer application begins with clarity. Knowing where you want to go matters, but understanding why matters even more. Choosing the right schools and major is one of the most important decisions you’ll make as a transfer student. It directly shapes your academic path, access to opportunities, and career outcomes. This one-hour session is designed for prospective transfer students exploring four-year universities who want thoughtful, strategic guidance from the very beginning of the process. Together, we'll use a values-based, outcomes-aware approach to identify schools and majors that align not only with your interests, but also with the kind of support, resources, and opportunities you’ll need to successfully transition and thrive as a transfer student. As a transfer student, access to career development support also matters. With a shorter timeline on campus, it’s essential to choose institutions that offer strong advising, internship pipelines, alumni networks, and structured career guidance so you can build momentum quickly and make the most of your experience. By the end of our session, you’ll have a clear, intentional school list and major direction, along with a stronger understanding of how your choices connect to your long-term goals. This is ideal for you if: 🌿 You’re starting the transfer process and feel unsure how to choose the right schools or major 🌿 You want to make decisions based on fit, outcomes, and career alignment, not just prestige 🌿 You’re interested in a field but need help narrowing your focus into a clear academic path 🌿 You want to ensure your next institution offers strong career support and opportunities for transfer students 🌿 You’re a first-generation student or navigating this process without insider guidance 🌿 You want an approach that feels intentional, grounded, and aligned, not rushed or transactional Alongside our exploration work, we’ll begin laying the foundation for your application narrative, including key themes and direction for your personal statement. This creates a natural bridge into deeper essay work, and if you choose to continue with additional support, you’ll receive a discount toward future packages.

Authentic Narrative Coach | 15+ Years Experience | USC Admissions

Recent student acceptances include: Cornell, USC, UCLA, UC Berkeley, UC Irvine, UC San Diego, Northeastern, Boston University, UIUC, Chapman University, Loyola Marymount University, University of San Diego, Texas A&M, UT Austin, Rutgers University, and the University of Michigan Ann Arbor. After reviewing thousands of undergraduate applications during my 15 years in admissions, I learned that the strongest applications are rarely the ones with the longest extracurricular activity lists or the most polished essays. As a former Associate Director of Admission at the University of Southern California, I know admissions committees aren't looking for perfect students. They're looking for real students, those who have a genuine sense of who they are and can communicate how their experiences, values, interests, and dreams come together to tell a compelling, authentic story. That's the foundation of my work. I help students gain the clarity and confidence to make college decisions that align with their strengths, values, and long term goals, then translate that into an application that stands out. Whether you're struggling to find your authentic voice, choosing the right colleges, or applying to highly selective universities, I'll help you communicate not just what you've accomplished, but who you are and what you hope to contribute. That's what makes applications memorable. My work is especially valuable for students who: 🎓 Feel pressure to appear perfect and want the confidence to present their authentic selves. 🌱 Are navigating self doubt, unconventional paths, or significant decisions and want thoughtful, honest guidance throughout the admissions process. 📚 Have meaningful experiences but struggle to translate them into a clear, cohesive application that reflects their voice. 💛 Want a coach who sees them as a whole person, not just an applicant, and values their growth as much as their admissions outcomes. If you're looking for thoughtful, personalized guidance throughout the college admissions process, I'd be honored to help you create an application that reflects your strengths, your story, and your potential.
