About Salamata
I’m Salamata Bah, a Software Engineer at Apple and future business leader passionate about using technology to drive equitable innovation in global health and education. I’ve built my career across six internships at companies like Apple, Meta, and IBM before earning my B.S. in Computer Science from Drexel University (Magna Cum Laude, Upsilon Pi Epsilon). Beyond tech, I serve as IT Director for Guineans Succeeding in America (GSA), leading digital transformation and conference technology initiatives that connect hundreds of African professionals and students. As someone who navigated the journey from first-generation student to a CBS Deferred MBA admit, I understand how powerful mentorship and structure can be. I love helping others uncover their unique story, position their impact authentically, and approach ambitious goals with clarity and confidence.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I know how transformative the right guidance can be. I’ve been the student who doubted whether her voice belonged in rooms full of experts — and the mentor who now helps others see their potential before they do. My mentors opened doors I didn’t even know existed; now I pay that forward by helping others do the same. Coaching, to me, is about more than admissions — it’s about empowerment. Whether it’s refining an MBA narrative, navigating a career transition, or building confidence as a young professional, I aim to create a space where clients feel seen, supported, and ready to stand out with purpose and authenticity.
