About Pranav
I didn't know what investment banking or private equity was until I was almost halfway through my undergraduate years. I quickly learned that finding opportunity in this field comes down to thoughtful networking and constant learning from those with experience in the industry. After more than 1,000 cold emails and internships in asset management and investment banking, I decided to pursue private equity after graduation, and have spent the past four years in PE across Partners Group (in Denver) and Madison Dearborn Partners (in Chicago). In these roles, I've had the opportunity to work across a broad range of sectors and transaction types.
Why do I coach?
I coach because it's extremely rewarding to pair ambitious young professionals with the support, framework, and resources they need to achieve their goals. It was given to me at several points to start my own career, and I love to pay that forward. I also coach because I understand first-hand the effort it takes to gain career momentum in highly competitive fields, and realized that grit needs to be combined with the right guidance to be effective.
