About Pooja

Hi there :) I am a deferred MBA admit at MIT Sloan and recently graduated from Boston University. I am here to help undergrad students navigate the MBA application process. I'm currently a student at Sloan, so all my insight into campus and student life are timely and relevant. I also have access to up-to-date data from the admissions side, so I can tailor my feedback in a way that's relevant. Prior to Sloan, I was on the Growth team at Carta, a start-up building software products for the founder/VC ecosystem. Prior to Carta, I was an intern at Battery Ventures where I sourced early stage B2B SaaS start-ups. I have also worked with the Harvard Kennedy School’s Women and Public Policy Center and the Advanced Data and Analytics team at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. Having recently applied to deferred MBA programs, I have insight into how admission committees evaluate undergraduate profiles. Deferred applicants have a unique set of experiences such as internships, university clubs, and classroom projects that require a tailored application strategy.
