Description

Is your organization full of AI ideas, but unclear which ones are worth pursuing first? Are business teams asking for AI pilots without a clear view of value, data readiness, ownership, or risk? Do data teams feel pulled between experimentation, operational reporting, and strategic AI expectations? And are you trying to separate interesting use cases from the few that can create credible business value now? This is where AI adoption needs discipline. Not every use case deserves a pilot. Not every pilot deserves investment. Not every automation opportunity is transformation. And not every AI idea is ready for the data, process, and governance reality of the business. The challenge is not a shortage of possibilities. The challenge is choosing well. The real question is not, “Where can we apply AI?” The better question is: Which AI use cases have enough value, feasibility, readiness, and ownership to be worth acting on first? The AI Use-Case Prioritization for Data Teams Sprint is designed for leaders who need a practical way to evaluate and sequence AI opportunities across analytics, automation, decision support, productivity, and customer or operational use cases. Across the four sessions, we clarify business priorities, gather candidate use cases, assess data and process readiness, evaluate risk, define value logic, and create a prioritized pilot portfolio. We look at which use cases are near-term. Which are strategically important but not ready. Which should be postponed. Which should be avoided. And what leadership decisions are needed before pilots begin. You will walk away with a structured AI use-case inventory, prioritization criteria, readiness and risk assessment, pilot sequencing view, and a practical 90-day action plan. This is not about chasing the loudest AI idea in the room. It is not about running pilots because the market expects movement. It is about making disciplined choices so AI energy turns into proof, learning, and business value. Because in AI transformation, momentum matters. But direction matters more.

Session Plan • Session 1: Business priorities, AI ambition, and candidate use-case discovery. • Session 2: Value logic, data readiness, feasibility, and ownership assessment. • Session 3: Risk, governance, adoption complexity, and prioritization. • Session 4: Pilot portfolio and 90-day action plan. How I work with clients I work with clients by starting with clarity, not assumptions. Whether the challenge is a career transition, a leadership inflection point, a technology decision, or an organizational transformation, my first task is to understand what is really going on beneath the surface. Often, the visible issue is only a symptom. The real constraint may be unclear priorities, weak alignment, outdated operating rhythms, gaps in leadership identity, or decisions that have not yet been made with enough precision. My approach combines structured inquiry, real-world executive experience, and practical strategy. I do not believe in generic frameworks, motivational advice, or one-size-fits-all playbooks. Each engagement is shaped around the client’s context, goals, constraints, and stage of growth. Together, we diagnose the real pattern, challenge assumptions, surface blind spots, and translate insight into action. For individuals, that may mean strengthening leadership presence, reframing career value, or navigating the shift from technical expertise to strategic influence. For organizations, it may mean aligning leadership, clarifying decision rights, strengthening operating models, or turning transformation intent into executable movement. The work is both rigorous and human. There is strategic structure, but also space for reflection, identity shifts, trust-building, and the deeper leadership work required for lasting change. The goal is not just to create a plan. The goal is to help clients see clearly, decide wisely, and move forward with confidence.

Transform Data with AI | Ex-AWS Leader in Cloud & Analytics

I led cloud, data, and analytics work at AWS, the engine room where AI actually gets built and put to use. I understand both the technical reality and the business expectations sitting on top of it, and the tension professionals in this field live with between the two. If you work in data and AI, I can help you connect your technical depth to the outcomes leaders care about, decide where to specialize as the field moves quickly, and step into leadership without leaving the substance behind. I won't be teaching you the tools you already know. My focus is the judgment, communication, and career strategy that turn strong data and AI skills into senior influence, backed by real cloud and analytics leadership and ICF-ACC coaching craft.
