About Michael
After earning my MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, I joined Anheuser-Busch at its North American headquarters, working with several billion-dollar brands before being named Global Partnership Director for ZX Ventures, Anheuser-Busch's innovation arm. In this role, I developed and partnered with Pitchfork Media to launch OctFest, an annual music festival in NYC. While at Kellogg, I also co-founded two other nationally-recognized music festivals: the North Coast Music Festival and the Chicago Bluegrass & Blues Festival. Since then, I've planned and executed hundreds of live events, and produced a documentary film, "Festival," about the role music festivals play in our lives, which debuted at Bonnaroo. I recently joined GoPuff as the Head of Alcohol & Beverage Marketing. As a coach, I bring an honest, fresh perspective to the application process. In particular, I'm experienced at helping prospective MBAs think through the role a business degree can play in their life, especially if they're not sure about their career path, and further, I'm skilled at helping applicants frame their diverse experiences in a compelling and cohesive way that resonates with admissions committees. I'm a marketer at heart, so if you come from a similar background, or are looking for help crafting your story, I'm your guy.
