Package Description:

This plan is designed to help you craft a law school resume that stands out—one that effectively showcases your unique experiences, skills, and aspirations to admissions committees. As a current third-year student at Harvard Law School with a rich background in civil rights advocacy, I understand the nuances of what makes a resume compelling in the competitive law school admissions landscape. My journey through Harvard's Junior Deferral Program and my extensive work with legal nonprofits (including being part of hiring teams!) have equipped me with the insights needed to highlight your strengths and tell your story through your resume. Here’s how we’ll work together: Initial Consultation: We’ll start with a conversation to understand your background, experiences, and goals. This will help us identify the key elements that should be highlighted in your resume. Resume Structuring: I’ll guide you in organizing your resume to ensure clarity and impact. We’ll focus on creating a structure that aligns with law school expectations while emphasizing your unique journey. Content Development: Together, we’ll craft concise, powerful descriptions of your experiences. Whether it’s your academic achievements, work experiences, or extracurricular activities, I’ll help you articulate them in a way that resonates with admissions officers. Editing & Feedback: I’ll provide detailed feedback on your draft, focusing on language, tone, and presentation. We’ll go through multiple rounds of edits to ensure your resume is polished and professional. Final Review: Before you submit, I’ll conduct a thorough review to ensure your resume is cohesive and effectively communicates your readiness for law school. Throughout this process, I’m here to support you as both an editor and a strategic partner. My goal is to help you present a resume that not only lists your accomplishments but also tells a compelling story of your potential as a future law student. Let’s work together to make your resume a powerful tool in your law school application.

Law school admissions coach with background in civil rights advocacy

Welcome to my profile! I am currently a third year student at Harvard Law School, where I have interned for a variety of civil rights legal nonprofits and worked extensively with clients facing criminal charges. I was admitted to Harvard through the Junior Deferral Program in 2018, ultimately deferring my admission for four years to work as a paralegal and policy associate in Atlanta, GA. I have extensive experience writing and editing. I've written professionally, publishing in outlets including New York Magazine, MSNBC, and Teen Vogue. During my first year in law school, I won the award for Best Brief in my Legal Research and Writing class, and next year, I will be clerking for a federal district court judge -- a prestigious position in the federal courts. Finally, I am the co-editor of a book about an activist movement in Atlanta, through which I edited over thirty contributors' essays. All this to say -- I love editing other people's work and drawing out their passions! I'm especially passionate about working with students and applicants, and especially love editing personal statements and other application materials. Everyone has a story, and the key is telling it in a compelling way that paints a picture of why you belong in law school! I hope I can help you do so!
