At BambooHR I founded the AI in Research program, which set the principles, training, and governance for how teams across Product, CX, and Marketing adopt AI in practice. I led the company's first AI in HR study on customer and buyer sentiment, and the findings shaped our 2026 AI roadmap. I also sit on a cross-functional group rethinking how we build products around AI, moving away from a slow build-after-research sequence toward continuous experimentation. What I bring to this is a builder's view of strategy. I spent three and a half years as a full-stack engineer and still ship software, so I can tell the difference between AI that holds up in production and AI that only looks good in a demo. I'm also clear about where AI does not belong, which keeps teams from wasting money and goodwill on projects that were never going to work.
