I’m Maria Tselevich, a career coach, talent strategist, and former recruiting leader at McKinsey and Amazon. I help professionals land roles they once thought were out of reach by combining practical strategy with mindset work that actually shifts results. My approach is grounded in real hiring experience, I’ve built structured interview processes, trained global recruiting teams, and advised leadership on how to identify top talent. Clients often come to me when they feel stuck, undervalued, or unsure of what’s next. Together, we create clarity, build a plan, and move forward with confidence. Whether you're preparing for a high-stakes interview or rethinking your entire career path, I bring both structure and empathy to the process. Outside of work, I practice yoga, drink strong tea, and chase waves whenever I get the chance. Surfing reminds me a lot of career growth. You won’t always catch the first wave, but if you keep showing up with the right mindset and preparation, something powerful clicks.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I believe careers shape lives, and too many brilliant people stay stuck in roles that don't reflect their potential. After years of building recruiting systems at top firms, I saw how much talent gets overlooked, not because candidates aren’t capable, but because they don’t know how to position themselves or navigate the process. Coaching lets me change that. It’s where I get to help people cut through the noise, clarify what they want, and move toward it with purpose. Watching someone land the right role or reconnect with their sense of possibility never gets old.
