About Luke

I attend Stanford University for computer science. In high-school, I was very involved in debate and still strongly believe that narrative is vital to success in admissions. After high-school, I built a $3M company. Now, I run the world's largest collegiate hackathon and really enjoy working with students who care strongly about their education. Favorite class at Stanford: improv. (stats below) -- High-School: 36 ACT, 1590 SAT, 800 SAT Math II, 800 SAT Chemistry, 43/45 International Baccalaureate, 6th place national ranking in PF Debate (2nd @ TOC, 14th @ Nationals) Before Stanford: Raised $650,000 and built a financial technology startup with 16,000 users Stanford: 4.06/4.00 GPA, Director of TreeHacks (the world's largest collegiate hackathon), APM @ Hudl

Why do I coach?

I believe that I was admitted to Stanford because of a coaching session I had with a Stanford student during the application process. I modeled my essay structures off of his, and I still think very few essay strategies are as powerful. Coaching can unlock incredible knowledge.
