About Kevin
I'm different than any coach you've ever met I know how to make it work in Consulting: 7 years at McKinsey I know how to break in with non-traditional profiles: Direct hire into Consulting from the Military And I know how to succeed in any situation while thriving personally: Vanlife & Ultramarathons I'm excited to help you meet your goals and I want to help you develop the skills, mindsets, and behaviors you need to be successful in your life and career. I have coached 100s of McKinsey BAs, Associates, and EMs to learn the skills you need to succeed - How to break into consulting as a US Veteran or industry professional - Prepare for the interview process through to offers - Consulting toolkit including problem solving, pages, analysis, and communication - Leading teams and working with senior leaders and clients I entered consulting straight out of the military without the typical MBA stop. I started as an analyst and quickly promoted to Associate, Engagement Manager, and Associate Partner. Along the way, I learned and mastered the skills needed to be successful consultant, mentor and apprentice those around me, and be a distinctive advisor to my clients. Despite the fast pace and demanding role as a consultant, I figured out how to live a full life outside of work: - Lived in a camper van seasonally for 3 years, taking Ubers from the wilderness to the airport every week while leading teams on Strategy, Diligence, and Transformation studies - Ran ultramarathons: Javelina Jundred 100 miler, Mogollon Monster 100 miler, Leadville Silver Rush 50 miler, many 50ks and trail races around the US and world - Got everything out of the travel lifestyle: I was the top voice on our internal slack channel with 7,000 firm followers - United Global Services, AA Concierge Key, Marriott Ambassador I'm so excited to partner with you on your development journey!
Why do I coach?
I love seeing others succeed. I had the chance to mentor and apprentice with many distinctive and accomplished people and I love being able to pay it forward for individuals who are new to the industry, struggling with challenging situations or conflict, or just thinking about the right path to take as they look ahead to reviews, promotions, or major decisions. I bring a unique, self taught view to being a successful, senior management consultant and know what it takes to do it without an MBA.
