his was the first organization I worked at post graduation from Michigan State University in 2009. I was hired into the org as 1 of 3 positions for a brand new Management Development Program driven by Herb Kohler. I was able to hold roles that blended my love for golf, hospitality and newly found passion for marketing. I was a part of the Corporate Communications team (this acted like an in-house agency) and worked on the hospitality division of the Kohler business, including doing planning, account management and social media management for Whistling Straits, Blackwolf Run, 2012 U.S. Women's Open, and other events like the annual Kohler Food & Wine. I left Kohler with the position of Social Media Manager, Hospitality. Highlights: • Held essential roles within Corporate Communications (Kohler's internal agency) to support Kohler's Hospitality division including account planning, account management, and social media for Blackwolf Run & Whistling Straits, Kohler Waters Spa, Kohler Food & Wine Experience, 2010 PGA Championship, and the 2012 U.S. Women's Open. • Inaugural participant in Kohler's Hospitality Management Development Program, which included rotations through various departments, resort managerial duties, and special project for Herb Kohler.
