The fit portion of a consulting interview is where candidates either stand out or blend in. Interviewers are assessing whether you can tell a clear story under pressure, whether your instincts are right for the work, and whether they'd want to be on a team with you. I coached the consulting recruiting curriculum at Ross for two years and interviewed candidates at BCG — I know what lands in these conversations. This package is focused on developing your behavioral stories, sharpening how you tell them, and making sure you walk in with a clear, confident sense of what you want to convey. 1. Story Development -Story Bank: We'll develop 6–8 strong stories covering leadership, collaboration, analytical problem-solving, and impact — with enough range to handle the questions most likely to come up. -Story structure and delivery: Feedback on how to tighten each story so it's specific, concise, and structured — without sounding like you memorized it. -Async story review: Written feedback on your prepared stories before mock sessions so we're refining the substance before practicing the delivery. 2. Mock Interviews & Refinement -Two mock behavioral interviewS: Live practice run at real interview pace with firm-specific framing, followed by a detailed debrief on what to adjust. -Firm-specific fit coaching: Deep dive on what your target firms are looking for in fit conversations — the culture, the questions, and the framing that resonates. -Why consulting / why firm: Specific preparation for the motivation questions that trip up a lot of candidates — making sure your answers are genuine, specific, and compelling.
