About Kathryne

I’m Kathy Collins, a Certified Life Coach, educator, and author dedicated to helping women navigate life’s toughest transitions and step into their God-given purpose with confidence. With over 20 years of experience in higher education, coaching, and ministry, I specialize in personal and career development, guiding women from heartbreak and uncertainty to healing and success. My journey has been shaped by personal trials—overcoming a broken marriage, raising children as a single mother with little support, finding love again, and experiencing the devastating loss of my spouse. Shortly after, I faced job loss, forcing me to rebuild my life from the ground up. Through faith and perseverance, I not only found healing but also discovered my passion for empowering others. I founded EmpowerHer: Sad to Success to help women redefine their futures, whether they’re overcoming personal hardships, seeking career growth, or pursuing new opportunities. My coaching provides faith-based guidance, practical strategies, and professional development tools to help women rebuild their confidence and create fulfilling lives. I’m also an author, currently working on my first book, Walking by Faith: Devotions for the Journey, along with my upcoming devotional Beyond the Pain: Embracing God's Healing After Loss and a faith-based book on overcoming the pain of losing a spouse and starting anew. Through my writing and coaching, I strive to inspire women to embrace transformation, develop resilience, and pursue meaningful careers and lives. If you’re ready to grow personally, professionally, and spiritually, I’d love to support you on your journey. Let’s connect and take the next step together!

Why do I coach?

Coaching is more than just a profession for me—it’s a calling. I coach because I know what it’s like to feel lost, broken, and uncertain about the future. I’ve walked through the pain of a broken marriage, single motherhood, loss, and career setbacks, and I understand how overwhelming life’s transitions can be. But I also know that healing, growth, and success are possible with the right support. Throughout my journey, I didn’t always have a mentor or coach to guide me. I had to navigate heartbreak, rebuild my confidence, and rediscover my purpose on my own. Looking back, I realize how life-changing it would have been to have someone walk alongside me—someone to encourage, challenge, and equip me with the right tools to move forward. That’s why I do what I do today. I coach because I want to be that person for other women. I want to help them transform their pain into purpose, rebuild their confidence, and create lives filled with faith, fulfillment, and success. Whether it’s navigating personal hardships, rebuilding after a loss, or pursuing career growth, my mission is to provide faith-based guidance and practical strategies to help women step into their God-given potential. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of your next step, know that you don’t have to go through it alone. I’m here to walk this journey with you. Let’s take the next step together.
