In 2014, the Global Consulting Engineers (a group of pre-sales product experts), who became the Advanced Technology Group (ATG) in the Office of the CTO (in 2015) took me in as their own private writer to continue working on the Deployment Guides. But I quickly morphed and grew the role to its end form. In this role, I acted as the CTO Spokesperson, working with the Senior and Executive team to establish and manage operational process and procedures. I co-managed the group of 10 to set department standards and processes, and was the primary lead working with the Global Consulting Engineers (GCEs), a group of Riverbed pre-sales experts, to create Riverbed Deployment Guides (RDG). The RDG was the #1 downloaded guide by customers and used internally as one of the best training tools. As well, I initiated meetings between other groups, to make sure writing of all types (Technical Marketing, Product Marketing, etc.) were using the same branding and naming conventions.
