Kajal’s Chief of Staff Qualifications
Coaches professionally
Experience level: Executive
I’ve spent much of my career working closely with leadership in fast-moving technology companies like Google and Airbnb, often at the intersection of strategy, communication, and execution. Along the way, I’ve also experienced the startup journey firsthand - working at an early-stage company that later had a successful exit to Airbnb and now advising an AI startup as it navigates growth. These experiences gave me a deep appreciation for the Chief of Staff role: a position that requires judgment, discretion, and the ability to hold both the strategic and human dynamics of an organization at once. I enjoy helping aspiring and current Chiefs of Staff grow into that kind of leadership and become trusted advisors to the executives they support.

About Kajal
At Google, Airbnb, and early-stage startups, I often worked behind the scenes with founders and senior leaders, helping translate vision into clear plans, aligned teams, and operational systems that could actually scale. Operations teaches you something quickly: the hardest problems in companies are rarely operational. They’re human. They’re about decision-making under uncertainty, communication under pressure, and navigating the quiet weight of leadership. Over the past 18 years, I’ve helped founders and tech leaders take ideas from 0→1 and move through moments where the path forward wasn’t obvious yet. That work - bringing clarity to complexity - is what I continue to do today with founders, operators, and tech leaders building what comes next.
Why do I coach?
At some point in my career, I started noticing a pattern. The founders and leaders I worked with were thoughtful, capable people - but they were also carrying a tremendous amount alone. Big decisions, constant ambiguity, the quiet pressure of building something that doesn’t exist yet. Most of the time, there wasn’t a real space to think things through out loud. Coaching grew naturally from that. I realized the most valuable role I could play wasn’t just running operations - it was helping leaders slow down enough to see clearly: what actually matters, what’s noise, and what the next right move is. When leaders have that clarity, everything changes. Decisions get cleaner and teams move faster.
