About Judy
I help ambitious professionals turn stress into strength and self-doubt into confidence. My coaching blends practical tools with honest conversations to help people lead with clarity, stay grounded under pressure, and build stronger relationships at work and at home. After working in HR for many years, I saw that for many people, the human part of work is the most challenging, and I believe that it doesn't have to be! That's the reason I decided to become a coach. Together, we simplify the messy human stuff—so you can communicate better, make confident decisions, and feel more fulfilled in what you do. My approach is strengths-based and down-to-earth. I help clients see what’s already working, use their natural talents more effectively, and make small shifts that lead to big, lasting change. A world traveler, I worked at a tech firm in India for a year and have attended yoga retreats in 5 countries. I aim to walk 15K steps/day and do many of them with my dog, Ruby. While in Ithaca, NY for grad school, I started a chocolate chip cookie business and didn’t even have an electric mixer. I'm the youngest of four girls, live near the ocean, and still love watching sunsets.
Why do I coach?
I think it was Socrates who said, "Know Thyself." I believe that knowing oneself is the secret sauce for becoming a happier, more successful, and fulfilled individual. And as a 20-year HR professional, I can guarantee that having emotional intelligence and the ability to communicate effectively with others are some of the most important skills needed to be successful in the workplace regardless of role or position. I've coached many individuals who wanted my help in developing the confidence and skills to get what they want in the workplace. They overcame the fear of asking for greater responsibilities, giving difficult feedback, and even delivering presentations to large groups of people. I've also helped many individuals develop the mental fitness and resilience to handle life's challenges with a more positive mindset, resulting in greater success in career search, performance and promotion, well-being and health, and harmonious relationships. I love coaching because I have seen the impact it makes on my clients' lives when they realize that they can have the difficult conversation, ask for a promotion, choose a new career path, and become kinder and more loving to themselves. We are our own harshest critics, and it inspires me when I can help clients learn how to see themselves with fresh eyes and become more optimistic, joyful, and successful in life.
