Have you ever felt like you've achieved success, yet feel like something is missing? Maybe you're struggling with imposter syndrome, or you just feel stuck in a career that once excited you. You know you're searching for more purpose and meaning, but you're not sure how to get there. I've been there, and I have helped a lot of other people like you! I’ve spent over a decade working on the backend of high-performing tech organizations like Google and Pure Storage, designing the very systems that govern how people learn, grow, and succeed. I've also formally studied the science of adult learning and organizational change at Northwestern, so you can be confident that my coaching is grounded in a deep understanding of what it takes to thrive in today's professional world. What truly fuels me is using that insight to help you advance your career, whether that's growing your impact in your current role, getting promoted, or transitioning to a new job, company, or industry. We’ll work together to understand what truly makes you tick, tap into what you already have, and find clarity on your next steps. As your coach, I show up as empathetic yet insightful. I will support and challenge you. I won't just give you advice; I'll help you find your own answers. We'll partner to reframe your limiting beliefs and craft a powerful personal narrative so you can build a career that truly resonates with your values. Why do I coach?
When I received an offer to work at Google, I collapsed on the floor. Not a heart attack; just pure elation. All the hard work and sacrifice had paid off. I had "arrived." Or so I thought. I rode the high for a time, getting to lead some very significant work, but eventually I couldn't shake the feeling of wanting "more." I thought promotions and role changes would help. They did, for a while. Yet, the feeling kept creeping back. Was I just being ungrateful? Google was consistently ranked as one of the best places to work in the world. I had my "dream job," at my "dream company," but I didn't feel satisfied. What was I missing? I was about to call it quits after seven years, when I discovered coaching. Something clicked. As a former teacher, I quickly recognized the value of reflection, self discovery, personalized learning, and appreciative inquiry -- all elements of coaching. Importantly, I realized that I hadn't been the only one struggling in their dream job. Many of the talented leaders I coached at Google had imposter syndrome, felt stuck in their careers, were frustrated by getting passed up for opportunities, and/or were searching for more meaning. Through their dedicated work, our coaching sessions helped them shift their mindsets, let go of limiting beliefs, and find clarity. Coaching my valued clients also helped me by tapping into my deeper desire to connect with and help others grow. One of the best parts? It didn't require changing roles or companies. I stayed at Google for three more years and had some of the most meaningful moments in my career. Why do I coach? Helping others find greater meaning at work and in their lives has helped me find more meaning in mine. If my story resonates, let's connect! You might be just a few tweaks away from your dream job and a happier life.
