Package Description:
This package provides clients with end-to-end essay support for MBA applications, tailored to your own needs. You will receive ESSAY REVIEWS: Up to FOUR comprehensive essay reviews for ANY school's application essays. These can be sent over email or on a video call. For example: can include 1 review for 4 different essays, or 4 reviews of 1 essay. Option A: ONE essay for your top school, FOUR reviews including final copy-edit. Option B: FOUR different essays from different schools, ONE review each. Tuck's Essay Questions: (1) Why are you pursuing an MBA and why now? How will the distinct Tuck MBA contribute to achieving your goals and aspirations? (300 words) (2) Tell us who you are. How have your values and experiences shaped your identity and character? How will your background contribute to the diverse Tuck culture and community? (300 words) (3) Describe a time you meaningfully contributed to someone else’s sense of inclusion in your professional or personal community. (300 words) SESSIONS: - ONE 60-minute personalized 1:1 essay workshop session. PLEASE NOTE that we would set the essay draft deadlines and the three 30-minute feedback sessions during this call. - FOUR 30-minute feedback sessions after each asynchronous essay review. Here is how we would work together for this package: • Personalized Essay Workshop: A one hour live meeting to talk through your profile, personal background, and aspirations. Prior to this session, I will send you a personal branding exercise to complete. We will assess your application's strengths and weaknesses, specifically focusing on the unique qualities that your program is looking for. We'll discuss and brainstorm potential themes and stories for the FOUR core essays. I will help you create outlines that align with the program's admissions criteria and values. You'll leave this session with emerging themes, essay outlines, work plan and timeline for completing essays before the deadline. • Essay Drafting and Revision: I will provide comprehensive feedback on your essay's content, style, and tone, as well as suggestions for improvement. This package includes FOUR asynchronous revisions, with a 30-minute live debrief after each one. • Final Editing and Polishing - I will conduct a thorough review of your final essay drafts, examining them for consistency, coherence, and errors, and we will work together to make any final edits needed. • (If applicable) If we work together on an MBA essay package and you receive an interview: Please notify me of your interview date within 7 days of the interview, and submit a draft of your post-interview reflection BEFORE 9 PM ET. I will commit to a 1-hour turnaround of high-level feedback on your post-interview reflection. Please note that this feedback will be more high-level (i.e., "focus more on this," "re-consider dwelling on this") and a grammar/spelling check. PROJECT MANAGEMENT: We'll draft a project tracker for the key milestones of your application process. Within this process, I will likely respond to your milestones submissions within a few hours and commit to a MAX 48-hour turnarounds on edits, post-interview write-ups, and async questions. In return, I ask that you are responsive about scheduling and aim to schedule 1x1's with one week notice (and cancel them with AT LEAST 24 hours notice). However, I know that life happens! Sometimes you may need a faster turnaround or an emergency session to troubleshoot things. Just let me know - you can quickly reach me by text in those scenarios. ORGANIZATION: I work with clients in Google Drive and will send you a link to your personal drive when we start working together. I suggest that you store all the documents by school, with a sub-folder for each application component (e.g., essays, resume, recs, etc). WORKING STYLE: My coaching style is collaborative and tailored per person. The application process is a time for deep personal reflection, and with that comes vulnerability. I aim to establish a collegial relationship with my clients, working together to map out and achieve their goals. I am available over email and phone/text to ensure clear/prompt communication and offer encouragement and moral support.
