About Dwight
I’m Dwight Spencer, an ICF-certified life and identity coach helping creatives reconnect with who they are so they can move forward with clarity and consistency. Most of the people I work with are talented, thoughtful, and full of ideas, but they feel stuck in their own heads. They second-guess themselves, struggle to follow through, or feel like they are performing a version of success that does not quite fit. My role is to help you cut through that noise, trust your voice, and take action that actually aligns with who you are. My work sits at the intersection of creativity, identity, and execution. I help you make sense of what feels unclear, translate big ideas into practical steps, and build momentum without burning yourself out or losing yourself in the process. I co-host For the Love of Creatives, a podcast and community centered on creativity, community, and becoming. Through conversations with artists, builders, and everyday creators, I stay close to the real challenges people face while trying to bring their ideas to life. I also contribute to platforms like She Rises Studios, where I write and speak about building creative communities and helping people show up more honestly in their work and lives. Before coaching, I spent years in corporate and tech environments, learning how to navigate expectations, growth, and reinvention from the inside. That experience shapes how I support clients who are balancing creative ambition with real-world responsibilities. My coaching style is grounded, conversational, and focused on progress. There is room for doubt, ambition, and uncertainty, but we do not stay stuck there. We turn insight into action. If you are ready to stop overthinking and start building something that feels true to you, I can help you get clear and move forward.
Why do I coach?
I coach because I know what it feels like to move through life feeling different while carrying a sense that you are meant to create something meaningful. I spent years stepping into roles that looked right from the outside but felt off internally, and it was the people who truly listened, reflected, and challenged me who helped me find my way back to myself. That experience shapes how I show up as a coach. I am not here to fix you. I am here to help you hear yourself more clearly, trust what is already there, and move forward with intention. In my work with creatives, I see the same pattern again and again. When someone finally has space where they do not have to filter or perform, things start to shift. Ideas gain traction. Decisions become clearer. Momentum builds. The moment that matters most to me is when a client recognizes their own voice and realizes they can build a life around it. That is why I coach. It is not a side pursuit. It is how I engage with people, conversations, and the work I put into the world.
