About Didier

I'm a current joint degree Master in Public Policy and MBA student at the Harvard Kennedy School and Harvard Business Schools. I came here after 6 years at Google, where I was most recently the Global Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the corporate functions. I led a team of senior practitioners to design, implement, and evaluate strategies aimed at attenuating disparities along lines of differences, in particular race and gender. Prior to Google, I received my undergraduate degree in Mathematics from New York University. I spent the greater part of a year early in the pandemic strategizing around reaching my goals. Before starting the process, I knew that I wanted to pursue a MPP/MBA degree. I applied to 6 MBA programs and 4 MPP programs. I received admissions to 5 of the 6 MBA programs: HBS, Wharton, Booth, Yale, and Darden. I was waitlisted by Ross. I received admissions to 4 of the 4 MPP programs: Harvard Kennedy School, Harris School of Public Policy (UChicago), Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy (UVA), and Ford School of Public Policy (UMich). After taking the GMAT a couple of times, I ended up with a score of 760. Figuring out what the test was actually testing was the biggest piece of the puzzle in attaining that score.
