About David
Hi! I'm David. I'm currently a second year student at Harvard Business School. Before HBS, I spent 4 years as a consultant at Bain & Company and then 3 years at brightwheel, a venture backed education startup. Before that, I went to the University of Virginia where I was a Finance & Marketing major with a minor in Environmental Sustainability. I am now working on my own venture while in school. Outside of work, I love to play basketball, be outside, and explore Boston with my wife.
Why do I coach?
Coaches have been an integral part of my personal and professional journey. Starting with sports growing up, to professors in college, to leaders in the working world, I have enormously benefited from the guidance and wisdom from mentors a few years ahead of me. I've been a youth basketball coach for many years, but more of my time coaching has been with really talented individuals looking to get into consulting, MBA programs, or startups. I love to understand where someone is coming from and figure out what's the best path and strategy for them to get what they want. I was helped by many people along the way in my journey, and I hope to give back in a similar way!
