I've been building products for the last ten years and have worked in software development education for the last six. AI has made building software more accessible than it has ever been, as well as more inefficient and vulnerable. AI-generated code will become more commonplace, and there is a real need to have experts who can coach and mentor rising developers in this new field to make sure they protect their users and build effectively. As an author at both Pluralsight and Madecraft, I have taught on-demand courses on secure coding with AI and facilitated live presentations and workshops for author communities on how to integrate AI tools into their work.
