Welcome to my profile! I am a fiction writer and current student in the MSt in Creative Writing at the University of Oxford. My work has been published in Litro, The Frogmore Papers, and other venues, and I have been longlisted for the Cambridge Short Story Award, Yeovil First Novel Award and Unleash Press First Novel Award. I graduated from Faber Academy's 'Writing a Novel' course and National Centre for Writing's 'Short Story' course. Before transitioning to writing, I worked as a management consultant with McKinsey and hold an MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Oxford and a MA in Politics and Economics from the University of Glasgow. Why do I coach?
I coach because talent is rarely the limiting factor - direction is. Most people work hard but spend too much time on low-leverage effort, especially when the process is messy and the feedback loop is weak. My coaching is designed to fix that: diagnose, prescribe a clear direction, and build a process you can execute under pressure. Last but not least, it's fun and humbling at the same time.
