About Carlos

Hi! I'm Carlos and I'm a recently graduated HBS student. I'm currently pursuing my own startup idea and following the path entrepreneurship focused around media and AI. I was lucky enough to receive 8 acceptances to top MBA programs. I had used a structured approach that adapted my application for what each school was looking for. I received scholarships with every acceptance, and four of them gave me full rides. I'm a proud alum of MLT and also received Consortium fellowships. I remember how daunting and exhausting this application journey can be, so now I help others on their own journey. I hope I can be a great resource and advisor as you take the leap!

Why do I coach?

I had no idea how to approach MBA admissions before I worked with my own coach. There were so many nuances and insider tips I didn’t know. Coming from a non-traditional background, I wasn’t surrounded by people who had taken this path before. Honestly, I wasn’t even planning to apply to HBS because I didn’t realize how strong of a candidate I could be. And now, that decision has completely changed the trajectory of my life. What a mentor did for me was unlock a playbook of knowledge. The kind you only get from someone who’s been through it and understands the process. I want to pay that forward and share that same playbook with others who are in the position I once was. Whether you're the first in your group to apply or one of many, I’m here to pass on what I’ve learned and help put you in the best position possible.
