About Carlos

Hi! I'm Carlos and I'm a graduating HBS student. After graduation, I'm planning to pursue my own startup idea and go down the path of entrepreneurship focused around media and emerging technology. I was lucky enough to receive 8 acceptances to top MBA programs. I used a structured approach that adapted my application for what each school was looking for. I received scholarships at every school with full rides at four of them. I'm a proud alum of MLT and received Consortium fellowships. I remember how daunting and exhausting this application journey can be, so now I help others on their own journey. I hope I can be a great resource and advisor as you take the leap!

Why do I coach?

I had no idea how to approach MBA admissions before I worked with my own coach. There were so many nuances and insider tips I didn’t know. Coming from a non-traditional background, I wasn’t surrounded by people who had taken this path before. Honestly, I wasn’t even planning to apply to HBS because I didn’t realize how strong of a candidate I could be. And now, that decision has completely changed the trajectory of my life. What a mentor did for me was unlock a playbook of knowledge. The kind you only get from someone who’s been through it and understands the process. I want to pay that forward and share that same playbook with others who are in the position I once was.
