Included Medical Direction of CLIA "moderately complex" laboratories and on site radiology services. All clinical operations, hiring, billing and marketing decisions occurred under my purview. I was directly involved in the leasing, build-out and financing of 2 Urgent Care facilities.

Was on workgroup for system-wide IT platform (Cerner) implementation and Six Sigma Quality groups leading to publications and presentations at national forums.

The board oversaw budgets for approximately 40 ER's. I participated in RFP's and consulting projects at prospective client hospitals. I was a member of the Quality Committee overseeing activities at all EPMG facilities.

As Medical Director, with clinical privileges at all related ER's and Urgent Cares, I was responsible for all clinical operations in this ER with annual patient volumes approximating 90,000 visits per year, a trauma center with a 4-year EM residency program, affiliated with the University of Michigan. I sat on the Residency Oversight Committee, Residency Evaluation Committee and led the ER Administrative Curriculum for 4th year residents. The supervisor of Medical Students and of the County EMS reported to me. I oversaw Urgent Care Services and numerous Physician Assistants. I sat on numerous committees at the Medical Staff and departmental levels and participated in a Daimler-Chrysler Rapid Work Redesign Group.
