Global Career Program Lead (Out@In ERG)

LinkedIn

October 2022 - February 2024

Although my primary role at LinkedIn was in strategic sales, the most transformative aspect of my time there was leading the global career development program for the company’s LGBTQ+ employee community (Out@In ERG, 1,000+ members), fostering inclusive and cross-functional learning spaces. In this volunteer leadership role, I collaborated closely with global DEI and Talent teams to: • Design and implement professional development initiatives—including coaching, training, and mentoring programs—focused on internal mobility, talent visibility, and cross-functional growth. • Create the “Map, Build, Activate” framework: a scalable structure for employee development and peer mentoring. • Align 14 senior leaders across 5 business units to secure strategic sponsorship and embed the program into LinkedIn’s broader Talent and DEI goals. • Facilitate group coaching sessions and mentoring workshops, significantly increasing engagement and strengthening the quality of internal development pathways. • Coordinate global programme design alongside LinkedIn’s Managing Director in Ireland, overseeing deliverables and KPIs through Smartsheet. • Design training and communications content that boosted employee engagement and participation in social impact initiatives. This experience reinforced my passion for talent development through a strategic, inclusive, and impact-oriented lens. I also participated in executive learning programmes focused on leadership, coaching, and DEI: • C.E.O. ERG Leader Development Program – Leadership & program management for ERG leads • DIBS Mentor Circle – 3-month DEI learning track on allyship and inclusive practices • Blueprint Coaching for Managers – 6-week coaching program for people managers

KPMG

August 2019 - August 2019

• Developed SaaS driven solution by conducting market research, applying innovation methods and complex cross-matrix team feedback to account for all critical requirements, collaborating in a cross-functional team • Presented final business case in digital strategy summit for review and critique, where it was very well received The background story: In August 2019, after finishing my third year at university, I picked up my backpack and embraced the adventure (fun fact: it was my first traveling alone and it was all pretty much done on the fly). I traveled to Amsterdam to participate in KPMG Startup School, an accelerator organized by the Smart Tech Solutions, where 7 students from different backgrounds came together to tackle relevant issues that KPMG was concerned about. During 5 weeks, guided by KPMG specialists, two cross-functional teams, consisting of a hacker (focus on tech), a hipster (customer-focus and product design) and a hustler (focus on business strategy), researched and developed the idea into digital prototype (minimum viable product) that improved the innovative power of KPMG. Our challenge was: “How can KPMG enable organizations in competitive and/or regulated business environments to create more transparency while minimizing data sharing, leveraging digital technologies?”
