Description

Most job searches don't fail because of one big problem. They fail because of one or two small ones, and nobody ever points them out. Maybe it's a resume that buries the achievements that actually matter. Maybe it's a networking approach that gets you conversations but never referrals. Maybe it's how you're answering the first interview question. Whatever it is, it's usually fixable, and it's usually invisible to you because you're the one doing it. That's what the Job Search Diagnosis is for. In this 30-minute, one-on-one live session, you'll walk a coach through your entire job search so far: what you've applied to, how you've been networking, what your interviews have looked like, where things have stalled. The coach isn't there to give you generic advice. They're there to find the specific one or two things that are quietly working against you and tell you exactly what they are. You'll leave the session knowing precisely what's been holding your search back, why it's been happening, and what to do differently starting now.

Insider Insights | Hiring Manager & Global Recruiting Leader Perspective

I bring extensive experience from both sides of the hiring process: as a senior leader making hiring decisions, and as the executive responsible for building and running large, global recruiting organizations. Over the course of my career, I’ve hired thousands of people across roles, functions, levels, and geographies—ranging from early-career talent to senior executives—inside companies at very different stages of growth. As a hiring manager, I’ve been accountable for building teams that performed under real business pressure. I know how hiring decisions are made when tradeoffs are unavoidable, timelines are tight, and the cost of a miss is high. I’ve evaluated candidates not just on resumes or interviews, but on how they would actually show up in role, on team, and in moments that mattered. At the same time, I’ve led and scaled global recruiting functions inside complex organizations. I’ve designed hiring strategies, overseen high-volume recruiting across multiple markets, partnered closely with executives and business leaders, and made decisions about who moved forward, who stalled, and why. That experience gives me deep, practical insight into how candidates move through hiring systems, where they get stuck, and what actually influences outcomes behind the scenes. Because I’ve operated both as the decision-maker and as the leader of the hiring engine, I understand the mechanics of hiring in a way most career coaches do not. I know how roles are scoped, how candidates are compared, how signals are interpreted, and where perception, positioning, and timing make a real difference. Clients work with me when they want clear, honest guidance grounded in how hiring really works—not generic advice or surface-level tactics. Whether someone is early in their career, navigating a pivot, or preparing for a bigger next step, I help them make career decisions with a realistic understanding of the market and how they are evaluated within it.
