Package Description:

You have an idea. Maybe it's been living in your head for months. Maybe something clicked recently and you can't stop thinking about it. But how do you know if it's worth pursuing — and where do you even start? This package is built for aspiring founders at the earliest stage: before the deck, before the pitch, before the product. It's based on the same structured methodology I use in my Stanford entrepreneurship classes, adapted into a focused three-part working engagement designed to help you pressure-test your idea and build your first real business model. Here's how it works. We start with a 30-minute discovery session where you walk me through your idea in your own words — no deck required. I'll ask clarifying questions and give you a short brief to complete before our next session. That brief is your homework: a first pass at your customer, your problem, your assumptions. From there, I spend 1.5 hours reviewing what you've submitted async alongside my own research — looking at your market, your competitive landscape, and the assumptions underneath your idea before we ever sit down together again. That async prep is what makes our final live session substantive rather than exploratory. In our 1-hour working session, we review your Business Model Canvas together. We'll stress-test your customer segments, value proposition, revenue logic, and key assumptions — and you'll leave with a completed canvas, a clear read on where your idea is strong and where it needs work, and a specific set of next steps to validate before going further.

What you'll get from this package

A completed Business Model Canvas for your idea, built collaboratively with an experienced founder and Stanford entrepreneurship instructor.

A clear, honest assessment of which assumptions in your business model are solid and which ones need to be tested before you commit further.

A prioritized list of validation experiments — the specific questions you need to answer before building anything.

The confidence of knowing your idea has been evaluated through a real entrepreneurial framework, not just encouraged by people who care about you.

I work with a small number of clients at a time so I can give everyone my full attention — when we're working together, you're a priority, not a name in a queue. *What you can expect from me* Structured preparation before every session. I review your materials and do my own research in advance so our live time is spent on real analysis, not catch-up. You'll feel the difference immediately. Honest, direct feedback. I'll tell you what's working and what isn't. The goal of this engagement isn't to validate your excitement — it's to help you figure out whether this idea deserves your time and energy. Sometimes the most valuable thing I can give you is a clear-eyed "not yet, and here's why." *What I ask of you* Complete the pre-session brief within the agreed timeframe — this is required before our canvas session and is what makes the live work meaningful. Come ready to be challenged, not just encouraged. The founders who get the most from this session are the ones who are genuinely curious about whether their idea holds up, not just looking for permission to proceed. Note: this package focuses on idea validation and business model development. It does not include pitch deck creation, investor outreach, or ongoing coaching beyond the sessions above. If you want to continue working together after this engagement, we can discuss next steps at the end of our final session. Hours expire 60 days from purchase. 48-hour cancellation or reschedule policy applies for live sessions. Otherwise, full session credit will be deducted.

I teach entrepreneurship at Stanford across for-credit courses and immersive programs for adults and high school students spanning 6 continents. My students have gone on to raise funding, gain admissions to top accelerators, launch products, and build ventures that scale. I bring that same rigor, framework, and insider access to my 1:1 coaching. As the founder of Stanford's Education Entrepreneurship Hub (edupreneurship.stanford.edu), I've built one of the most active founder ecosystems at Stanford - connecting for-profit and nonprofit education entrepreneurs with the mentors, resources, and community they need to move from idea to impact. I also invested as an angel , which means I've reviewed hundreds of pitches and know exactly what makes investors say yes - and no. I've lived the founder journey myself. I bootstrapped a future-of-work SaaS product that scaled to users in over 80 countries, entirely with no-code tools and no outside funding. No dev team. No technical co-founder. Just relentless customer discovery, sharp positioning, and the right tools at the right time. Now I'm building my second venture the same way, so everything I teach, I'm actively doing. What makes my coaching different: I give you the frameworks Stanford founders learn, applied to your specific stage, market, and constraints - not a generic playbook. Most of my clients are first-time founders who've never had access to this level of coaching. That's exactly who I'm here for. I also bring a perspective most startup coaches don't: I understand what's possible for non-technical founders right now. AI has changed the game. You can build, test, and scale things today that would have required a dev team two years ago. I'll show you how. Who I work with: 💡 Idea-stage founders trying to figure out if their idea has legs before they quit their job or spend their savings: customer discovery, problem validation, and the hard questions you should be asking before you build anything 🚀 Early-stage founders (pre-seed to seed) building toward their first customers and first check: MVP scoping, go-to-market strategy, pitch narrative, and fundraising mechanics 🤖 Founders building AI-native products: how to position in a crowded AI market, where your moat actually comes from, and what investors are looking for beyond "we use LLMs" 🏗️ Non-technical founders who want to build faster without hiring: the exact no-code and AI stack I use to move from idea to working product without a single line of code Recent wins: Founders accepted into Y Combinator, NEO, and Techstars accelerator programs, pre-seed rounds closed with sharper narratives, product pivots that unlocked new markets, non-technical founders shipping MVPs in weeks across various industries: AI SaaS, Consumer, EdTech, HealthTech, and more
